KEITH JANSSEN
Keith has the unique point of view of knowing what it is like to be overweight, unlike many trainers who have prided themselves on always being thin and healthy. Due to a knee injury he sustained while in the U.S. Army, Keith went from being 145 lbs and one of the fittest, fastest and physically motivated soldiers in his company to becoming a depressed, 198 lbs. couch potato over the course of three years.
It was going through the weight loss process that caused Keith to make the decision to become a personal trainer and help others that need help overhauling themselves. Because of the circumstances that motivated Keith to become a personal trainer, he understands the hopes that drive his clients. He also understands the fears that keep them from achieving their fitness goals. This not only helps Keith connect with his clients, but it also helps him show his clients that their biggest obstacles aren't anything more than the ones that they have created for themselves. His interests in helping people achieve their fitness dreams began as a novice trainer and have driven him to push the envelope in the fitness field for almost ten years. Keith has participated in different martial arts since he was eight years old. As a black belt Keith has been taught and understands the importance of balance, strength, and flexibility. Keith's passion for perfection within himself is always driving him to continue learning, practicing, and to be an inspiration to those around him.
